6 months old!

We turned a whole SIX months old this week! Can you believe it? The babies are starting to sit on their own for several seconds before falling over and mama catching them. We started rice cereal yesterday and it is just a matter of time before we're crawling! Quincy and Adelyn will now hold their bottles for the most part(I thought this day would never come)-they do fall over and they drop them but the last several days they are learning and getting better. Quincy is the best because he's got huge hands! Quincy still wants to eat every 2 hours and Ellie is starting to follow his lead :( Adelyn will go the usual 3 hours though. They are all still sleeping through the night and have since about 13 weeks or so. The last feeding is at 8 or 9 and they get up at around 6 or 7. That was and is hard work but its paying off since we get our sleep! Yea! I'm still pumping for the girls (literally-I'm pumping right now, and eating lunch AND blogging) and have enough even ...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you for checking our blog and I'm sorry I haven't posted in several weeks! Its been a zoo around here with traveling for interviews, Christmas and so much more. We're all well though thank God and looking forward to the babies very first Christmas! I seriously am so excited for this whole season this year and its just much brighter! That being said, please remember to pray for those who are grieving this year for a lost loved one or because of infertility. Thank you again to our faithful friends and bloggies (buddies+bloggers-I just made that term up)! Love, Clint, Rachel, Adelyln, Ellie, Quincy and Caleigh

Quincy's reflux

He's had it since day one. I took him in last week for a upper GI barium swallow exam. There were a total of 5 medical professionals (techs, docs, ect) in the room and after the first swallow and watching the screen they all said aloud and almost in unison "WOW! He DOES have really bad reflux!" Thanks, I knew that! :) It was bad too. On the screen you can see the barium being swallowed and it immediatly comes shooting back up. We've tried EVERY type of formula after we switched him off breastmilk at 3.5 months. He's 5 months now. He been on three different reflux medicines. He is SO extremely fussy ALL. THE. TIME. he has his "moments" where is a complete doll, cooing and smiling and just wonderful but he will scream every day for hours and hours on end. We've tried gripe water, baby massage, more food, less food, food more often (but NOT less often as he screams even more), baby wearing/playing/holding, different positions, rice cereal with formu...

The triplets want to go to college!

Several people have asked if there is anything that the triplets need for Christmas this year. In terms of "things," we're really in good shape. We could always use some help here or there, but in terms of ideas for Christmas gifts, we recommend our college funds. Links to donate to the triplet's college funds are now up on the blog. Thank you to those who have already given and those who wish to contribute.
