30 weeks

I know my belly is getting huge but the photo below makes me look even bigger with the shirt hanging down the way it is - we did a second photo (above) to show I'm not REALLY THAT big! Okay, I am. Who am I kidding? lol . 30 Weeks! The last time I wore this shirt, summer 2009. I just had to prove it's not even maternity! Ha. I think it is the ONLY non maternity babydoll type style shirt out there that would fit me, but hey, it still fits! I'm running out of things to wear. I have like 4 or 5 shirts that "fit" me but won't cover my whole belly unless I wear these long maternity tank tops underneath them (thank you Tamera for letting me borrow your VERY stretchy tank tops). The comments and stares are just beginning. We went to eat on Friday night and the woman who waited on us said "Please don't have your baby here!" Seriously? No really, I WANT to have my babies at Fazoli's ! What a perfect place to give birth. Again, seriously? At S...

Mama's belly as a bouncy castle!

I've taken a lot of photos and videos of the babies moving (on my blackberry) but this morning I actually was able to catch them pretty active. They're getting crowded in there and growing! It's always so much fun to see legs or arms poke out! The video is nearly 3 minutes long and they are active during it but slow down towards the last 30 seconds or so. I can feel them but its hard to see a ton of bigger movements from the video. I took about 5 videos like this this morning because they were so active. (FYI: I am wearing jammies , yes that line is part of the " linea negra " that extends the full length of my belly and the noise in the background is our fan...just to clarify). We're in the market for a video camera and I can't wait to actually take better videos of these three moving around and maybe even seeing toes or fingers stick out! We need to purchase one soon though because I'm 30 weeks today! Its crunch time! They will be here before we kn...

Update on the trio!

Bunkbeds as our sonographer says! :) Baby C here is laying on top of Baby A! Our sonographer took this photo because it looks like the girls are planning something and are up to no good! Ha-ha! So cute! This is a photo of their heads side by side. Sisterly love. Thursday we had an ultrasound at the MFCC as we do every two weeks. The big thing this week was that all three babies were at or almost at 3 lbs each! Baby A was 3 lbs on the dot. Baby B was 2 lbs 15 oz and Baby C was 2 lbs 11 oz. He was a little smaller last time too but they are all still within very good weights of one another (15%). Also there is always a small window for error so give or take a couple-few ounces for each baby and they're all about the same size. They are moving like crazy. Seriously though, like CRAZY! Last night we sat in bed watching and feeling them move in my belly and they were going strong for at least 30 minutes! They were making such big movements not just little wiggles. It is truly a...

29 weeks!!!

Isn't it beautiful!!! Clint surprised me out of the blue with this gorgeous 3 pearl necklace!!! Isn't he so sweet!? 29 weeks!!!!!!! Can you tell I'm a little excited? I think the dress makes me looker bigger than what I really am...although I know I'm really big - there's no denying that! lol . Especially when the lady behind us at church today asked if we were going straight to the hospital after service. No...but thanks for asking. Haha . And yesterday at breakfast our hostess turned to look at my belly and said "So, I guess you probably want to sit at a table not a booth huh?" I smiled and said "actually, I would prefer a booth!" I was so glad when I sat down that I actually fit or that could have been really embarrassing ! lol !!! I had about an inch or so to go before I hit the table's edge...BUT I still fit! So there! ;)

Last maternity photo with Laura and Makenna!

Only a couple more days or week at most for Laura!! Can't wait to meet Miss Makenna! Candid one...yes this is payback Laura BUT this isn't nearly as bad as the one you posted of me!! ;) Plus we both weren't ready! This is the "official" 28 week photo from last week since I hadn't posted one yet (besides the one of us together but this is better with the profile).

I want to throw a party!

We're at 28 weeks (and one day) already!!!!!! I'm so excited we've come this far and our little babes continue to grow! Its hard to believe we'll be able to hold them in 8 weeks or less! Clint's mom (Karen) came up from Kentucky to help out around the house this past week. She was a huge help! Karen took these photos of us just before we went out for dinner on Friday. I don't mind being home all the time but it was nice to get out for a little bit. :)

27 week photos

I'm pretty sure I was talking in this one... And wasn't ready in this one... But oh well! haha ! This one is me "dancing" with Caleigh (she dances with Clint all the time)! :) She never jumps up on us unless we "invite" her and she didn't jump on me just for the record, I picked up her paws. She will be such a good big sister! One other note you may be wondering...I don't fit into any of my maternity pants/ capris anymore (well, they're not comfy I should say. I do FIT in them I guess). I only wear my jammies. I wear pj pants with my regular large maternity shirts most days. Unless of course I leave the house. I try to wear comfy stretchy pants at least. Who knew you could grow out of maternity clothes?

Meet me at the water cooler...

First of all I cannot believe we're at 27 weeks today already!!! It is a great feeling to be this far along...although they still have lots of plumping up to do and I don't want them to arrive before they are totally healthy. I feel so thankful we've had a relatively smooth ride so far! I almost just keep waiting for something to go wrong but so far we've only had two false alarms: severe and painful cramping followed by bleeding at 8 weeks (Christmas unfortunately ) and the contraction/ FFN test scare at 23 weeks. For whatever reason we've been so fortunate, I know God is watching over us and our little babies but even if something did turn for the worse we'd still have many blessings to count. Okay, but for now I don't want to think about that...I'm thinking positive and we're very excited and hopeful for a delivery after 32 weeks sometime! The second random item for the day is this: Yes, this is our house and yes that is a water cooler! We deci...

Watermelon anyone?

It is that time of year again! But seriously everyone keeps saying I look like I swallowed a watermelon...I guess because what else do you say? I've said it before (only once) to someone with twins (sorry Melissa, it was you) so what can I say? Oh well. I had to take this photo...just for fun! I couldn't lift it so you it's not the same affect...but you get the point :) It tastes just as good as it looks too. I ate 1/4 of it last night as I was cutting it up!

Lessons learned

I am continuing to learn that no matter what, no matter what , God is faithful. In all circumstances good and bad. I will say that this lesson is much harder learned when you're going through a struggle in your life as we struggled for years with our infertility but those times teach us something and I wouldn't trade it (although maybe at the time I would have). There are several reasons I wouldn't trade the pain, struggle and deep grief but the most important is that I know I would have never learned to trust the Lord like I have over the last couple of years - especially this past year! I've learned that he is here, by my side, walking next to me and wanting to carry my burdens when I'm hurting and waiting to laugh with me when I experience joy. He gives me such an amazing assurance and peace that I can only find in him - just ask Clint or anyone of you who knows me well enough knows I'd be so lost, such a crazy spastic freak without him! But it's true. ...

26 week belly

This is what a 26 week triplet belly looks like. That is a total my friends of 45 lbs (and counting)! Flowers from my friend Stacy who hosted our Milwaukee shower last weekend! Love these :) More flowers, balloons, cards and the balloon holder...large box of wipes! lol .
25 and 36 week bellies hahaha! I had to post this... 25 week photo last Saturday (April 25) at our shower.

Milwaukee Shower

Laura made these cute onesies from the graphic she designed out of one of our ultrasounds. The onesies say "I'm a sweet pea", "I'm a sweet pea too", and "I'm a sweet pea three." :) Friends! I was once frozen onesies for all three babies! Thank you Vicki for making these!! Wood Production 1, 2 and 3 - From Vicki Opening gifts
