To sum it all up...

Okay, here are a few words just to sum up the past 5-6 days of my life. Broken car. Needs repair. Got loaner. Sick child. Pediatrician. ER. Spinal tap avoided. *Cell phone that dies in the midst of this sentence as I'm going to pick up my dog from the vet in rush hour and Brewer's game traffic-rushing home to be back in time for the babies next feeding...Clint: They said Quicy needs an X-ray. Me: WHAT?!! Phone dies. Panic. Friends in town to visit (yea)! Thank goodness for good news right? Husband's birthday. Never satisfied with the thoughtful gifts I find for him. What's new? lol. And, just so you know, he told me to write that! Sick dog. Surgery. Stitches. Busted. Gushing leg! Was going to have to go in to the ER but going to try to hold off until morning. I hope I don't wake up to a pool of blood. It's pretty bad! What am in forgetting? I'm sure there's something? Oh, vomit and LOTS of it! Fun stuff. A day in the life of me. I hope you all e...
With Adelyn in the Moby wrap-just before going for a walk with mama. ECW V looking at mama and Adelyn Learning to be efficient at 2 AM! I sit and pump on the floor right in front of the babies to watch them and so I can burp them. If they finish before I finish pumping I move my pump across the floor (thank goodness for my Simple Wishes Hands Free pumping bra!) and head on over to the coffee table to change diapers-yes, we change diapers at the diaper station on the coffee table-hey, ya do whatcha gotta do! Our livingroom is becoming more and more kid-friendly. Addy snuggles. I love naked babies. They are so soft and so sweet. After-nice and clean! I (we, okay...mostly I) do this at least 2 or 3x a day or I try to sometimes just do it after each feeding but I think its probably more efficient to do them all at once. Still learning what works best - what takes the least time! Bottles/dishes(before)
Adelyn covers her ears and Ellie covers Makenna's mouth! Girls girls! Was there some screaming going on? Is this competition to who can talk the most already? My piles of laundry - 6 loads in all! I felt pretty accomplished that day as I ran errands, did a ton of laundry and cleaned up the house and washed up all the bottles (which is a lot when you multiply by 3's! We all (myself and the babies) made it to Kohl's then the mall today! They are such great babies, and I tell them so! We got home, I fed and changed them and they're having tummy time now while mama pumps, eats a late lunch and blogs. Crazy life but its so much fun and I just love them and spending time with them. I cannot wait to watch them grow up but I also am so sad they're growing so fast! They'll be 8 weeks on Sunday already! :( Where have my tiny babies gone?
I really need to write more...but it will have to be later. We're all doing so well and I just cannot get enough of these adorable tiny babies! They are my world! Love them!
This will be quick because I need to get up and warm bottles but I made it to Target today for some errands! I took the babies after feeding/diapering/pumping and off we went! By the time we made it there we had about an hour before the next feeding and everyone did awesome! Funny though as I stood in line (well, many funny things happened and people said ALL kinds of things - aloud to us and under their breath) one grandma said to her grandson "Look! Awe! TWO babies!" The little boy couldn't have been more than three or four years old and answered back "No, no grandma. THREE babies!" haha. It was so cute! I had Ellie in my Mody wrap and Adelyn and Quincy in the double snap n go stroller. It was great and I felt good about being able to get them all out the door and back by myself!
Cousins! My brothers kiddos - Caitlin is two and Benjamin was born TWO days after our trio! That's 4 babies in less than 3 days! Left to right: Caitlin, Benjamin, Quincy, Ellie and Adelyn Caleigh loving life, babies and playing ball in the back yard (thus the tongue sticking out - it was hot that day) Adelyn with pink, Ellie with gray pants - we love tummy time! Little guy Quincy tummy time
