No one wanted to give their profile shots today but we got one of baby C quickly as he was moving around! It is much more crowded in there lately but all the babies are doing fabulously! Thank you to everyone for your prayers!!!Baby A's weight was 1.6 lbs.
Baby B's weight was 1.4 lbs.
Baby C's weight was 1. 4 lbs
They're growing but still tiny. Just to give you an idea the sonographer measured one foot and it was less than 2 inches! Still pretty small. We don't want them arriving any time soon - they still have LOTS of growing to do!
So, they're all on track and growing at the right rate, and together and everyone has plenty of amniotic fluid which is always a concern for multiples especially identicals when sharing the same chorionic sac. I guess we're never 100% out of the woods for Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome BUT everything looks perfect so far and our doctors don't have any concerns at this point which is amazing! These next few weeks (10-13) will be very critical in terms of their growth but we are completely confident they'll continue to do well and hopefully not enter the world until after 32 weeks! Our doctors keep telling us we may be very "lucky" and go all the way to 36 weeks - that would be awesome!
This was a really funny photo and I just had to post it because they were trying to look at baby A's head circumference and get a face shot of her but all the while baby B was kicking baby A and baby A instead of retreating or moving was trying to suck on baby B's toes when they'd come near her face! Oh my goodness, it was SO funny and too cute! Can you see baby A's face and then the thing that looks like its a tube or some ting coming out of her mouth is baby B's foot/toes! Its not the most clear photo but it was easier to tell what was going on during the ultrasound. Also this time baby A was laying flat at the bottom of my uterus/belly, baby B was breech and on my left side (looked like she was standing straight up on top of baby A's head actually - ha) and baby C was laying sort of horizontal at the top of my belly near my ribs (which I already knew due to the pain of what feels like an elephant stepping on and crushing my upper belly/ribs!!!). Baby B and baby C's heads were touching this time just under my left rib cage area. Maybe they were brainstorming something? Or maybe baby B just wanted to go snuggle with baby C for a little while instead of her sister like usual. We also saw lots of yawning from baby A today! She was SO adorable yawning! I love it when they do that!
What great pictures! It would be so neat just to lay there and watch them all day. Hope you got some videos of them.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I am so glad to hear that they are doing well. That's awesome that you saw Baby A yawning! Too cute!
ReplyDeleteSOOOO precious, and one all ready has a foot fetish! lol What a great story to tell them some day! Glad all is well!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful that the babies are still progressing and growing. It's great to see these pics. And I love reading your stories about them. Maybe the babies' mommy will one day be a writer.
ReplyDeleteWow Rachel I can't believe one of the babies' feet is less than 2 inches. That's so amazing! Glad to hear you're doing well and all three babies are growing. I hope they wait til the end of June or beginning of July. Hopefully the babies stay out of your ribs..but since you have three in there, one of them will always probably be in that area. Have fun at your shower this weekend!!
